You have one night to fill a room. Let your captains do it.
Give each captain a link. Their guests claim seats and pay for their own. You watch the tables fill, drag the stragglers into the room layout, and the money is already in your Stripe account.

01 · Fill the room without chasing checks
Captains bring the people. Guests bring the money.
A pay-as-you-go captain commits to a table and pays nothing up front. Each guest buys their own seat through the captain's link, and the captain is emailed as the table fills. A host who would rather buy the whole table can, and then assigns names or shares the same link. Whoever paid controls the seat. Nobody handles a check for someone else.

Steph, your table is almost full. Jordan Lee just claimed a seat and paid $85. Two seats left.
02 · Know where everyone sits
The seating chart is a screen, not a spreadsheet.
Drag guests from the unseated pool onto tables. Keep groups together. Lay the tables out on the room grid, number them in one click, and email everyone their seating with a dry run first.

Steph Alvarez is tagged captain; the Marsh prepaid table posts as one $850 Admission contribution.
07 · What Gala does not do
Gala is tickets, tables and guests.
It does not run auctions, paddle raises or fund-a-need, and check-in at the door is on the roadmap, not in the product today. Many of our customers pair it with an auction tool; bidder numbers live on each guest for that reason.
Tickets, tables, captains, the table builder, promo codes, waitlist, Google Sheets export, and the CRM sync. Paid once per event, whatever you raise.

A 300-guest gala · $85 seats · $25,500 in tickets
Illustrative. Ticket price and guest count are yours to change; the $399 does not.
